National Mulled Wine Day - Mar. 3rd; Chef Missy Robbins

Missy Robbins got her start in food working at a restaurant in her last year of college. After graduation, she attended culinary school. She appeared on Top Chef Masters in 2012, and has received a coveted Michelin star at two restaurants, A Voce (both locations). Food & Wine named her Best New Chef of 2010.

March 3rd is Mulled Wine Day. Mulling spices can vary, but usually include nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and allspice, and also may include raisins, orange rind or apples, and sugar (if using red wine). Most often people use red wines for mulling, but others can be used as well. For a non-alcoholic treat, fruit juices can also be mulled.
