Named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs in America in 2001, Anita Lo – a second generation Chinese American – got her degree in French lit, and studied the language in Paris. It was there she learned a love of French cuisine. She beat Mario Batali on Iron Chef America in 2005 and has received rave reviews for her restaurant Annisa, which has earned a Michelin star.
